We are unable to ship outside of Canada for Spring 2010 only, due to personal difficulties - we intend to return to shipping internationally for Fall 2010.
We ship to the U.S., U.K., Mexico, Netherlands, Romania, Denmark, Norway, Germany, France plus any country within the EU. There are a few other countries which we can ship to without problems, if your country is not listed when you create a profile, please check with your local plant protection agency for requirements and forward them to us if you would like us to check into shipping to yours.
Please note that all orders going outside of Canada are subject to an extra $15.00 CA charge in shipping for a phyto certificate which indicates the bulbs are pest and soil free. This charge is mandatory and INCLUDED in the shipping price when the correct one is chosen on the order form online. This certificate is required by our governments in order to ship out of Canada.
Our Canadian Postal Service has unfortunately limited or eliminated the methods of delivery that were most economical, from Canada to most countries overseas. This has resulted in an extremely high minimum shipping charge, especially considering the mandatory phyto fee that is also included. The only method available to us for most orders going overseas is XpressPost International. The minimum shipping charge including the phyto fee is $67.00 CA. We encourage you to get together with other gardeners, family or friends to place a larger order and share the shipping cost.
There is the odd country to which we can still ship Airmail, such as Germany. Airmail is certainly cheaper than Xpress but does not come with trackable numbers and may take weeks, although average is 2 weeks. There is one great thing to say for XpressPost International and that is the speed of delivery. Most orders arrive in their destination country quicker than they would if they were going to Atlantic Canada! Average delivery times overseas by this method are 7 days or less. Of course Customs may delay things a day or two, for which we have no control.
International shipping amounts do not include international customs, brokerage or tariff fees. The purchaser is responsible for any and all additional fees, duties, taxes, associated with orders shipped outside of Canada. It is customer responsibility to be aware of the customs and/or documentation needed plus any other fees or processes which may apply to importing lily bulbs into their own country. We cannot, nor do we make any claims of knowledge of regulations in any country other than Canada. We do not issue refunds for orders returned due to refusal to pay additional fees, taxes or duties in the destination country.
We have a strict policy against misrepresenting the value and/or contents of your order on international customs forms. To misrepresent your order on customs forms would put us at risk legally. Any requests to do such will be ignored.
