Bright yellow with purple-red brushes, a greenish throat and a circle of spots in the center. Brushmarks intensity varies with the weather of course, lightening under hot conditions and deepening under cool ones. Dark stems grow to 1 M tall, blooms mid July.
Note there is mention of another asiatic named 'Black Gold' in the RHS Lily Registry, however its name was rejected for registration back in 1987.
