Huge, huge deepest red flowers on stems growing to just over 1M tall. What is most unique about this lily is the black-red brushes of color on top of the deep red petals. Everything about this flower is deep red - anthers, stigma, and the pollen. Blooms mid July.
This is a great red lily, I actually sold all stock completely, leaving just a few for my own private garden and discontinued propagation but decided to add it back to our stock as it has caught my eye too frequently in bloom to ignore it!
