Martagon lily l. dalhansonii
Martagon lily l. dalhansonii

The original clone raised from L. martagon var. dalmaticum x L. hansonii. Although the official registry lists it with 'chesnut brown' coloring, I prefer to call it mahogany red. Golden spots on deeply recurved petals, stems up to 1.5M tall bloom in early July. The deep coloring varies with cameras, lighting and such so I've deliberately used 2 different photos in different daylight so you can see how dark it can look, or how vivid in the direct sun.
