Brilliant yellow with a paler yellow throat and margins and some dark spotting to contrast. Large, fat petalled flowers bloom mid to late July on .9 M stems.
Some history for you...Piedmont Gardens sold the entire stock of Connecticut Beauty to Gebr. Vletter & Den Haan in 1976 who renamed it Medaillon for sale in Europe. Both the epithets Connecticut Beauty and Medaillon were registered in 1978 before the ICRA knew they were the same.
