Another triploid, with dark purple-red petals and a yellow throat. White margins and tips make a beautiful contrast on these flowers, which are unspotted and lightly fragrant. Recurved petals on stems growing to 1.4 M tall. Proven hardy on the prairies, growing stronger each year. Blooms begin mid August to September. Grow this one if Black Beauty (one of the parents of this beauty) will not thrive in your northern cold zone.
