Port Alberni Tiger asiatic lily

Just like the orange tiger lily, but much taller with larger flowers and a later bloom period. Fred says it can hit 2 M in a good year! It consistently grows to 1.4 M tall here. Blooms anywhere from late July to September depending on weather conditions. This lily typically blooms extremely late, usually starting about the time we begin bulb harvest in beginning of September although the past couple years it has bloomed same time as the OT's (early to mid August). Found in Port Alberni, British Columbia by Fred Fellner pre 1997.
