Will gardeners ever tire of the tango spreckling in the latest generation of lilies hybridized? Once a novelty, it is far more common today. Purple Life sports white petals with loads of purple tango spreckles concentrated in the throat. As with most tango patterned lilies, the pattern changes from year to year and flower to flower. This is one of the reasons I try to provide a variety of photos in different light and weather conditions. Grows to just over 1 M tall, blooming in early August here in central Alberta. Mature bulbs produce a beautiful show.
