Lovely lemon colored blooms are large and downfacing with no spots. Adds a very bright spot of color to any area, with plenty of blooms on stems growing about 60 cm tall and blooms mid to late July. Before you know it you will have a nice clump to admire.
This lily came to us within the named lily collection purchased from a lily hybridizer, with no stake in the original clump. It was rowed out and grown on for identification but ID has been unsuccessful - it's too good a garden lily to hold back just because it has no name so I'm listing it this year before they get too crowded. It is a dead ringer for a golden oldie from the 60's called 'Connecticut Lemonglow'. It has the same flower shape, form, height but it lacks the deep green foliage characteristic, instead this one has glossy bright green leaves and stems, otherwise I would say it was Connecticut Lemonglow!
