Our featured 2015 lily introduction is yet another steadfast Fellner hybrid from my 2006 selections. In 2006 stunningly beautiful reds and pinks with amazing substance dominated Fred's lily fields and this was one of them. Vivid red, fade resistant flowers with a bright flash of pure white and frosted papillae makes for a stunning contrast on the petals. I've counted up to 22 buds on stems in a good growing year - meaning no hard frosts, no hail and no drought! This variety tends to be frost resistant anyway due to the fuzzy buds it sports. Why the name Rohan? It simply means 'red-haired or red headed' in Irish. Grows to 1 M tall, blooming starts about the 20th of July here and continues into early August.
