Erin Kate asiatic lily

No Longer Growing At Valley K

Our Facebook followers were introduced to this lily in 2013 when we held a contest to name it. First we took entries for a name, then we narrowed it down to 3 choices and had the fans vote on it. The lucky winner received 3 bulbs in Fall 2013 and we held a random draw for anyone who voted to receive one as well. Thus, the name Erin Kate was chosen!

She is a beautiful raspberry-red with loads of red spots and a flash of creamy yellow in the center of each petal. The throat has raised papillae with a slight frosting. She grows to 1.3 M tall, blooming mid to late July with up to 20 flowers per stem, on average 15.
