This lily reminded me of the colour of the best Sour Cream Raisin Pie (made by my old neighbor Karen Cole), with the faint orange buff shade upon opening and the spots representing the raisins! With plenty of moisture and fertilizer this one can grow over 1.5 M tall, but typically stays around 1 to 1.2 M. No less than 16 flowers on established stems, it can form a perfect tree-style top or as it is known in the plant world - a 'perfect inflorescence'. Large down-facing flowers in creamy melon with a smattering of contrasting spots, the melon colour fades quickly after opening to a rich creamy white shade.
