Recipes for the garden utilizing common ingredients found in many kitchens.

 ANT KILLER

  • 3 cups water
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 5 ts boric acid (Buy on Amazon)

Pour over entry of ant hill


 

WASP TRAP

  • 1 part honey
  • 6 parts water
  • 1 pkg yeast

Let sit over night, then add:1 ts dish soap. Pour 1" of mix into bottom of a jar and place outdoors.


 

ALL PURPOSE BUG SPRAY

  • 1/2 cup rubbing alcohol (Buy on Amazon)
  • 1 quart safers soap (Buy on Amazon)

Do not spray in direct sunlight as leaf damage may occur. Do not spray if temperature is above 70 farenheit for the same reason. Spray, then let sit for 20 minutes. Spray plant down with clear water to reduce foliage damage. Spray every 3 days for 2 weeks.


 

ALL PURPOSE BUG SPRAY #2

  • 1/2 cup rubbing alcohol (Buy on Amazon)
  • 1 quart water
  • 1 tsp dish soap (Sunlight works best)

Follow directions same as for previous recipe.

1 tablespoon each of :

  • Soy Sauce
  • Vegetable oil
  • Molasses

Put in dish or can and place in targeted area.
