An old favorite in lilies, hybridized by the infamous Leslie Woodriff. This variety sports a very dark red flower with a green throat and white margins. The original cross was between Lilium speciosum rubrum and Lilium henryi which certainly gives it the genetics to be a fantastic garden lily! Grows quite tall, up to 1.9 M under good garden conditions, with a high number of flowers per stem. Known for its adaptability to a wide range of soil conditions all over the world.
