Fort Resolution NWT Lily

A hollandicum hybrid, if you know your species you can spot it in the flower form and colour immediately with the classic deeper orange flower tips, narrow petals at the throat and cup-shaped flower when it first opens. A slightly frosted orange throat is circled with dark spots and dashes that extend to almost half the petal length. The orange deepens in the outer 1/3 of the petal and it fades to the lighter orange overall in time. Blooms early to mid July here. It is interesting to note it has never even come close to achieving the height of 1.4 M as noted in the RHS Lily Register - it has never exceeded .8 M height in my gardens. Named after a community in the NWT, Canada.
